CANON CITY, Colo.-- A man convicted 16 years ago of killing his former girlfriend in Portland has been arrested in connection with the death of an inmate in a Colorado prison.

The Colorado Territorial Correctional Facility was on lockdown until Friday morning after one inmate killed another on Wednesday around 5:40 p.m. Prison spokeswoman Katherine Sanguinetti says the alleged murder took place in the cellhouse.
